Privacy Policy

Deploy Global OU operates Tripin, available on the web at tripin.ai and as mobile apps for iOS and Android. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we collect it, how we use it, and who we share it with.

Account information: when you sign in with Google, Apple, Facebook or an email code, we receive your name, email address and, where available, your profile photo from that provider, and store them to run your account.

We also collect and store the travel plans you generate, including your trip preferences, destination choices, and itinerary details, in order to display your trips and allow you to refine them over time.

Content you submit to the AI assistant: chat messages, voice recordings you dictate, photos or screenshots you attach, and links you share. We collect this only when you actively submit it.

Location: if you grant location permission in the mobile app, we use your device location to show nearby places and suggest trip starting points.

Purchases: mobile subscriptions are processed by Apple or Google. We receive your subscription status, never your payment card details. Web payments are processed by Stripe.

Device and usage data: device identifiers, app version, IP address, crash reports and usage statistics are collected automatically through the analytics and monitoring tools listed below.

We use your information solely to provide and improve the Tripin service. This includes generating personalized travel itineraries, enabling trip storage and retrieval, processing subscription payments, and communicating with you about your account.

We use content you submit to the AI assistant only to provide the feature you asked for: answering your messages, transcribing your voice recordings, identifying places in your photos and links, and generating and refining your itineraries.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.

Tripin's AI features are powered by third-party AI services. Before any of your content is sent to them, the mobile app explains what data will be shared and with whom, and asks for your permission. You can withdraw this permission at any time in the app under More > AI data sharing. AI features are then unavailable, and the rest of the app keeps working.

What is shared: chat messages and trip details (destinations, dates, preferences) are sent to OpenAI and Google (Gemini) to generate replies and itineraries. Voice recordings are sent to OpenAI for transcription. Photos, screenshots and shared links are sent to OpenAI to identify the places they show. Tripin does not keep your voice recordings or photos after they are processed.

These AI providers process the data on our behalf under their API terms, which do not allow them to use it to train their models and require protection of your data equal to that described in this policy.

We use the following third-party services to operate Tripin:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database storage and app analytics
• OpenAI — AI chat, voice transcription, place recognition in photos and links, and itinerary generation (with your permission)
• Google Gemini — AI chat replies (with your permission)
• Google Maps & Places — place search, maps and routes
• TripAdvisor — places, hotels, reviews and photos
• Travelpayouts — flight search
• Apple App Store / Google Play — in-app subscription payments
• Adapty — subscription status management
• Stripe — web subscription payments
• Sentry, Microsoft Clarity, Adjust, Meta SDK — crash reporting, usage analytics and install attribution

These providers receive only the data needed to perform their service, process it on our behalf, and are bound by their own privacy policies and by terms that require protection of your data equal to this policy. We never sell your personal information.

Tripin may use cookies and similar technologies to maintain sessions and improve your experience. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, though this may affect some functionality of the service.

We retain your account information and trips for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and its data at any time from the mobile app's profile settings, or by contacting us.

We implement commercially reasonable measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of internet transmission or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Tripin is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with their information, please contact us immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. We recommend reviewing this policy periodically.
